"Tell me, Theo," Pansy whispered over the low hum of their shared breaths.

Her fingers traced along his skin as his moist breath swept across hers. His tender lips drifted along her collar bone, nipping softly at her exposed flesh. She arched against him, searching for his touch, searching for answers.

"Tell me," she whispered again.

"There's nothing to tell," he spoke against her bare stomach.

She didn't believe him. She never did. All she could do was let him run his coarse hands along her body, lingering along her curves and touching every inch. All she could do was give him his control and watch as pain would wash through his eyes, gone again in almost a heartbeat.

The demons in his head were always there. She knew it. Invisible phantoms in his mind, clawing and ripping at his thoughts... He didn't have to say a word. She just knew.

She'd ask him every day to tell her, and every day it was the same response. He'd kiss her softly, dipping into her warmth and stroking every nerve. He'd send her to new highs, causing her mind to blank and her thoughts to empty. ...Just long enough to forget what she was asking him, and why.

"I love you," she whispered, hoping that some day...some day he'd stop blocking her out.

But the demons were always there, like the beat of his heart. Thump thump, thump thump. Always there. Always clawing and ripping and tearing at his every thought. The day his heart stopped beating was the day the demons would stop. Thump thump, thump thump.

Ficathon equals flist spam. Sorry. But on the brightside, they're all short fics. And you don't get to enjoy my writing nearly as much anymore. Ok, I'll shut up and stop being vain now.
