Ooo, Target could be fun! Then again, if I worked there the majority of my income would most likely be reinvested in Target. lol

Good luck!

I had that problem at Wal-Mart. But then, I'll be living at home now, so I won't be spending nearly as much money on dorm room snackage.

I worked at Target for about two weeks. I quit because of sexual harassment from my supervisor and the head supervisor. My supervisor kept talking about how we all wanted to fuck her and her panties and what she bought (lingerie wise), etc. The head came up to her and commented along the lines "No one can fuck you before me!"

I'm in no way a prude but I expect people to conduct themselves better in a professional environment. A friend of mine quit because she was getting sexual harassment directed straight at her (lesbian manager kept dropping hints).

We both worked at the same store though, so maybe that one store just sucks. Overall, I love Target. I hope you have a better experience. What are you applying for?

Sounds like a nightmare store. I've never seen anything like it in the workplace.

It really all does depend on the store with these huge companies. I've had people tell me they loved working at Target. I've also had people tell me they loved working at Wal-Mart - hard for me to imagine. But my store was horribly understaffed, and that made every aspect of the job more difficult.

It's a roll of the dice, I guess. We'll see what I get at this Target.

I applied for a sales floor position. I'm not sure where on the sales floor - it didn't say when I applied online, and they didn't say on the phone. Guess I'll find out.

Ugh. I remember when the vet clinic was understaffed. It's pretty damn unforgiving. Bleh!

I did morning stock so maybe they thought they could get away with less professionalism?

I do remember meeting people working on the sales floor that did like their position a lot. It seemed the beauty department was a favorite.

Good luck!

It is. I used to be on my own in apparel for hours at a time - there were nights where I didn't take any of my 15-minute breaks because it was just too much hassle to find someone to cover the phones/fitting room/jewelry counter.

Maybe. The backroom tends to be looser.

I still don't know what department they want me for. I asked but they never said.
