You totally deserve today off! After what the supes did to us yesterday, I say they deserve to be short-handed! (I'm soooo tempted to call in tomorrow!)
I'll be tempted to call in tomorrow, too. But I can't afford to give up THAT MUCH money.
Chianne sort of pisses me off...to ambush us like that is kind of lame, when she had several opportunities to just SAY, outright, "More working, less talking." Doesn't seem very supervisory to just let us keep doing it.
I lost it in the back room, when I went back there to help her out. I told her it was bullshit that I can't ask for help, and then talk to the person helping me while we get the job done. She said that the job took too long because we were talking. I told her it took too long because I couldn't find the fucking hangers. I told her I'm sick of her assuming that we never work, because, while we have our moments of slacking, most of us work our butts off and she should be more appreciative of those of us who know how to have fun AND work fast
( ... )
Well, and again, why didn't she just TELL us that when we were working there? Like, it would have been easy as pie for Shianne to say, "Katie, you should go find Amber to see if she has anything for you." Or to tell you that you should have asked for help - although she didn't seem too ready to offer her help once you told her about the hanger issue.
And what bugs me in particular is that I had no idea where Amber was. So it didn't make sense to me to go wandering all over the place looking for her when there was plenty to do with the freight at the fitting room, which I thought we were supposed to help you with anyway...? It's senseless.
But I talked to Amber about it all yesterday, and she said she doesn't mind the talking as long as we're getting our work done - which doesn't surprise me, because Amber's kind of a talker herself.
