Have I mentioned I hate my Intro to American Politics class?

This is PS 115. A gen-ed. Pretty much entirely non-majors. And yet.

Tomorrow we have a midterm, and this shit is...ridiculous. We have to bring two bluebooks for this one exam, an exam that is 50 minutes long. Granted, he only wants us to write on one side of the page, but still - ( Read more... )

I know what you mean. At my school, we have to take 3 university seminars. It's normal to have 1 for freshman, but 3? Granted, all 3 that I took were total crap and I didn't do much. But regardless, they were all a waste of my time and my money. It's even worse for the kids who had professors that made them do crazy amounts of work. College is stupid. *lol*

Actually, history is the easiest major.

I'm really sorry, Katie, but I read this entry and just laughed. I'd die of joy if I ever had a midterm like this ever again. Gen Ed classes helped my GPA, I can't hate them.

But I do understand the whole Gen Ed thing to be tedious, especially when taking classes that 100% don't pertain to your major in the slightest. Philosophy, to me, was the worst, but I had least had a good professor for it.
