GRRRR!I shouldn't have commented. I should have just let it go. I don't really give a shit if they didn't like the book or they want to be bitter that their ship didn't happen. The only thing I take issue with is this sort of ridiculous, immature behavior ( Read more... )

I don´t see that war cause I´m not participating in fandom too much.

But it´s irritating how people keep saying 'smeyer sucks' and blablabla. I think people were expecting her to write LOADS better than she wrote the previous books. But she did wrote in the same level. She didn´t overcome herself.

I´m not saying it cause I loved everything about the book. But I wasn´t expecting anything more than what she wrote so I´m hapy with it.

I agree. Sad to say, I convinced myself that I'd dislike the book the instant I read it because of all the negative attention the spoilers drew. Well, that didn't go well because I started liking at the preface. So when people continually bash Breaking Dawn, I become irritated.

I even left a community because of that. I can really respect how you stood up for your beliefs, bb. Really can. Us fans who are content with the fandom are too unrepresented. And that person who told you that the situation doesn't involve you is full of it. Too many people who actually like Breaking Dawn are either made fun of or frowned upon. Expressing distaste is necessary and shit, but not at anyone's expense.

*soothes* It's okay, hon. I'm one of the people that was less than thrilled with Breaking Dawn and even I'm a little freaked out by how bloodthirsty some of the fans seem to be. I guess it's as bad as it is right now because the book is still so new. Also, from what I can tell, Twilight fandom has never really had something this *big* happen to separate them before. I'm sure it will blow over in a few days. *hugs*

Whoops.

I think we're unfortunately alike that way. We can't resist speaking our minds.
