I have finally realized that the ONLY purpose this journal has ever served is for me to rack up attention. In fact, its not really a journal at all, I mean nobody is ever really that honest while writing in it. Other people can read it! Which means that either consciously or not, everytime you write in it you're just trying to project an image of

I'm sorry that you find livejournal to be a mockery of a journal, that its not the truth. i'm telling you, I know plenty of people who nothing but honest in their journals. They show their vulnerability, and share their fears and realities. And it's beautiful. I'll try and be funny from time to time, but I ALWAYS try and be honest in my livejournal, and I shy away from nothing. But what sucked is that with my honesty, it pissed people off and I got some nasty comments from it. I had to watch what I say, and I hated how I suffered consequences for it. So now I do some custom entries, just in case. But I'll never shy from the truth.

So not all journals are like that. Trust me.
