I love Christmas movies! In fact, I'm going to see A Christmas Story tomorrow in a real theatre on a nice big screen, and I am really excited! \o/

That sound so cool. I love seeing old faves on the big screen for the first time. I got to see 'Gone with the Wind', 'Some Like it Hot', and 'Wizard of Oz' but I would just DIE to see a clean, clear copy of Citizen Kane on the big screen. Wowza!!

It was very fun, I noticed some things I had never noticed before, even though I have probably seen the movie a few hundred times, hehe. It was worth the hour drive to get to the theatre. They have a whole series of classic films planned, pretty exciting.

Ps, nessachan, my mum LOVES 'A Christmas Story' and I swear, every year it was like she was seeing it for the first time, she laughed so hard..at all the same scenes...as if they were new. I wasn't a big fan of the movie itself (though I love nostalgia) but now when I think of it, I can hear my mother 832 miles away getting the giggles and finally laughing so hard that tears (and who knows what else) is coming out of her. So it's one of those things I think upon with tenderness now because she just loved that darn film. =) If we were in your city and I was with my mum, I would be taking her to a screening in a theatre, for sure, though we might get thrown out. Once she gets the giggles, I get them, and we can't stop... =)

We watch The Muppet Christmas Carol every year on Christmas Eve. I love that movie...and The Muppets in general...Michael Caine as Scrooge is amazing!

One can't go wrong with Muppets. I know R. and Xim are Muppet fans. Xim even tried to work with Henson back in the day, he was one of his Idols. It was a sad day for all when he died... The good ones go young, don't they?

I noticed that too =( cinematixyz December 7 2013, 09:42:48 UTC
Yes, I am assuming so (bout National Lampoon's). But I was surprised 'Bad Santa' didn't make the top 45 on IMDB.

That may have been why it didn't show on the list...Good looking out!

Guess our definition of crap Christmas movies is very different! Cheesy Christmas movies are awesome! But then I like cheese!

My favorite Hallmark Christmas movie is A Season for Miracles. So forgive me while I reject you definition of crap Christmas movies! :p

Also, WTAF?! Any one who thinks any Muppet Christmas movie is crap will never make it on to my Christmas card list! Seriously, how can you not live The Muppets? Are you sick?! ;-b

I didn't say or think 'crap movies'. I just saw a bunch of crap TITLES one day on the Hallmark channel, some I wouldn't believe were a real movie, and so I made a poll/game out of it, that's all... =)

But that was the LAST poll....these are the so called best ones. I was just seeing who agreed. Some on here are my fave. But the LAST poll was filled with titles that I couldn't BELIEVE they made a movie of.
