You're not alone -- we really hoped that this would be a fun, campy sort of play on Rosemary's Baby that allowed us enjoy a devious Terry O'Quinn while mostly tolerating the supporting cast. (We like Vanessa Williams, but felt like they dropped the ball on her character from ep 1. Plus, we never felt the chemistry between her and O'Quinn.)

It was pretty bad though. Overall, I felt like the acting was incrementally better than what we were suffering through on Revolution, so we stuck it out for a while. Then one night, on a whim, we streamed the first episode of Sherlock. We immediately deleted Park Avenue 666, Revolution, and something else I'm not remembering off the DVR. There is too much good tv out there that we haven't seen to waste our time on the shitty.

I hate to say it, but I think I even enjoyed The River more than I enjoyed Park Ave 666. Did you guys watch that one?

No on 'The River' BUT we ADORE Sherlock. We also like 'Wallander' which is like 'Whitechaple', 'Sherlock', and 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' had a Baby ( ... )

I admit that The River was pretty lame, but I still liked the spirit of it. It reminded me of the old Friday the 13th series a little bit, except instead of a new haunted antique each week, it was a (cheesy) piece of folklore. Then they tried to get all Lost-y and failed ( ... )

Yeah. Wallander is one of those things that might keep you occupied while waiting for Sherlock. But like with Sherlock, each season is three good long eps, so there are three seasons of Wallander ( I, II, and III) but nine eps. Rather depressing =(

I didn't watch this show but a friend of mine came to the same conclusion you did. It's a shame as it could have been a really good show.
