I know it seems bizarre that I am doing this in the middle of the night, but I decided tomorrow to go and spend the weekend with Yearrrgsworth and his family. Whether his grandmother passes or not, he/they might need me and that's the only co-writer I am close enough to visit. I just have to burst in here - it's storming like a mofo, here, so I'm not sure if my power is going out, soon - and say that THAT IS A SORE SUBJECT WITH ME, AS WELL. DOOD. I totally agree with your version. And being elderly, I welllllll remember the general consensus of opinion being the opposite, because OMG HE WAS A PUNK - a nasty joke on the Tonight Show, if I recall correctly...shit like that. I wore a black armband to school, that day, and NO ONE got it.

I just don't think he had it in him. I don't.

Yes, I did read it - gutwrenching. Christ, her poor parents. I don't know how I would have handled a child like that, who was just so, so messed up from day one. Who knows what Sid may have become without her, but, frankly - combined with his own mother? The boy didn't have a whole fucking lot of a chance, really.

The first time I was in the Chelsea, there was a plaque with it's famous past and it said 'Sid killed Nancy here' and just kept going.

I was so pissed off that even THERE they dismiss it like that. So I stayed at the Hotel Chelsea around the corner instead, thank you very much. - I'm misunderstanding this, I think - there are two? Derpa. But - yeah. For publicity, nevermind the truth or anything..right ( ... )

Yes Chelsea is huge so there are many "the chelsea inn" the "hotel chelse" and the"chelsea hotel". I lived in NYC for five years ( Xim was actually my roommate for my first two years there) but in 2006, I left for Chicago... But with nowhere to stay my last broke month there, me and my few possessions were homeless in New York, in winter. So I slept on the subway but then a friend put me up for a few days in the Hotel Chelsea.....wasn't gonna stay to The Chelsea Hotel where some people go said S killed N. They needed each other!! Z.

Oh, and one more thing. In regards to The Runaways? I was going to watch it, really, I was - but have crushed so damned hard on Joan Jett for so many years that I just couldn't face Kristen Steward as her. I can try, if I can find it..but...Oh, and I started, The Artist and PURE LOVE, so far. Thanks for the rec.

Listen, I dont like K. S. either. But even Joan (who she worked closely with) said it was like watching herself as a teen). Hate to give the Twilight twitch props, but she owned that role. Try it for half an hour...you'll see. Xs & Os, Z.
