In terms of what people will like best, I have a feeling that the poll will overwhelmingly lead towards Dr. Who.

But in terms of contribution to the genre? I have to give it to Star Trek, although in terms of contribution to pop culture, you have to give to Star Wars, which is why I voted for it, even though it's inferior.

Doctor Who means more to me because I have memories throughout my childhood, and I enjoyed most of the new seasons.

I didn't watch Star Wars until a few years ago and wasn't overly impressed (sacrilege I know!) and haven't even bothered with teh prequels.

Star Trek, I remember watching TOS and enjoying it, but not enough to watch any of the movies or spin offs.

Am I banned now!?

I didn't even have to think long and hard on this one. I've enjoyed all three. But Dr. Who has brought me more fandom joy that the other two combined.

No, I know EXACTLY what I am asking. Two of us are pulled in separate directions and two can't decide between two, however I do know that at least one of us will be in each column. So yes, I know exactly how hard this one is for some people, us included. But we will wait a bit longer to see what people end up with before we argue for our personal cases...

But seriously, its a hard call. I grew up with Trek, but find my imagination sparked differently (and the storytelling more intriguing) with Who.
