This isn't crit on your characterization as it more a reminder to mind her time period. She's from 1944 and the game is set in the past. So I was kind of disappointed that you decided to use 2010 dates for Hanukkah, rather than using 1944 dates for her. Which would have made the beginning of Hanukkah Dec 11. Not Dec 1st. Considering Hanukkah is not stationary than Christmas, it is something you should keep an eye out for in the future.

I had actually thought about this when I was coming up with the whole idea, but due to several factors (including, I have to admit, finals week falling during the time it would have taken place had I used the dates from her own period, as well as some uncertainty as to the actual concrete year the game takes place in), I decided to use this year's dates. I definitely intend to stick to her own time period in the future when stuff like this comes up again. Thanks for pointing this out :)
