Pairing: Tom Felton/Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel sipped his drink and looked around the pub. They were celebrating the release of the last “Harry Potter” movie and it was the last time the whole cast and crew would be together. It was one of those things that Daniel wasn’t sure how to feel about.

One on hand, it would be nice to finally be done with being “Harry Potter” and move on to other things. Not that he wasn’t grateful for all that the role had brought him, but it was time for him to do something else.

He’d done some stage stuff, to varying degree’s of success, and a few movies but he was ready to do something different.

Of course the down side? Not getting to work with his best mates any more. Rupert and Emma were the best friends that anyone could ask for. They were dedicated to their work and even more so to each other and him.

Working with Alan Rickman had been dream come true. The man was an acting god, but he’d been approachable and easy going from the start. Daniel had learned a lot from him.

The other people he’d work with, like Robbie Coltrane and Maggie Smith, had all been smart, hard working and professional, not to mention a lot of fun. They’d all mourned the loss of Richard Harris and then lauded Michael Gambon for the astonishing job he did when he took over as Dumbledore. Helena, Brenden, Ralph, Gary, and Jason had all been amazingly wonderful and he was gonna miss every single one.

He looked around again and spotted the one person he knew he was going to miss the most. Tom Felton.

He’d been fascinated by the slender young man from the first moment they’d met. Tom was quiet, thoughtful and had an intense look about him that had worked well for when he was “Draco”. But he also had a killer sense of humor, and was a decent singer as well. Everything about him had been a surprise. ‘

Including how he had made Daniel feel.

Daniel had always considered himself to be pretty straight. He could appreciate when a bloke was good looking. He was an actor after all, and looks meant a lot in the industry. But he never thought he’d find himself fancying a man.

But he did fancy Tom. A lot. The man was beautiful. Light brown shaggy hair that made Daniel want to run his fingers through it, over and over. Blue eye’s that shone with intelligence and good nature. He wasn’t as pale as he appeared on the screen, but his skin looked soft and some days, the itch to touch it was almost over whelming.

Poor Tom, he must have been totally baffled all the times that Daniel had turned and walked away from him as quickly as he could, so he didn’t do something to embarrass himself or Tom.

When he started hearing rumors that Tom was into men, he ignored them. He’d never seen anything to indicate that it was true. In fact, he’d never really seen Tom with anyone that could have been interpreted as a romantic relationship. But he generally seemed to keep his private life private and if anyone could understand that need, it was Daniel.

Living under a microscope wasn’t easy and Daniel had been there for a long time.

He ran his finger along the rim of his glass, collecting the sugar that was left there, then sucked it into his mouth, unaware he was being watched.

He sighed, looking down at the floor, when all of the sudden a pair of feet made their way into his view. His gaze traveled up the legs they were attached to, over a slim torso and surprisingly broad shoulders, before finding amused, sparkling blue eyes.

“Hello Daniel.” That gorgeous mouth was quirked up in a small grin.

“Oh, hello Tom.” Daniel’s voice was quiet and the littlest bit shy, but he couldn’t help smiling back.

“Why are you sitting here all alone? Rupert and Emma run off on you?”

If Daniel hadn’t been hanging off every word the man spoke for years, he might have mistaken Tom’s tone for the same one that Draco Malfoy used when he was speaking to Harry Potter. He could hear the good humor underneath though.

Daniel waved his arm over to where Emma and Rupert were wrapped up in each other on the dance floor. It was one of those cases where life imitated art, only those two weren’t nearly as innocent as Hermione and Ron. They had been dating for three years and the fact that the press hadn’t caught on was nothing short of a miracle.

“They’ve both had a bit to drink. Make’s them all sappy and schmoopy over each other.”

“Schmoopy? Where in the hell did you hear that word?“ He grinned a little slyly. “Why Daniel Radcliff, you’ve been reading fan fiction, haven’t you?”

“What? Why…? No of course not.” Daniel cursed that fact that he couldn’t say the lie without stumbling.

Tom grinned wider, making Daniel’s heart stutter in his chest. “You have, you naughty boy! Come on, which pairing? Ron and Hermione? Snape and Lupin?”

Daniel could feel the blush rising up his face like a physical thing. Then Tom leaned over to whisper in his ear. “Harry and Draco?”

Daniel couldn’t breathe. Tom pulled back a little to look at him, a smile that was somehow shy and speculating at the same time crossing his face.

Tom’s hand came down to rest on Daniel’s arm, long elegant fingers curling around his wrist, burning his arm like a branding iron and he couldn’t pull his eye’s away from that site. The number of times that Tom had touched him had been limited to a few scenes that required it, each one burned into Daniel’s memory.

“It’s okay Daniel. I read it too. Some of that stuff is pretty amazing, don’t you think?”

It didn’t even occur to Daniel to lie, and he just nodded his head, his voice stolen away by nerves and want.

Tom’s thumb was sweeping across his pulse, making it throb and jump and he knew he needed to get out of there before he did something incredibly stupid, like snog Tom senseless right then and there in the pub.

“I have to….I gotta go Tom.”

He pulled his arm free, reluctant to lose that last touch, but knowing it was the only way. He grabbed his jacket and was gone, out the door before Tom could say a word.

When he got outside into the cool night air, he realized that he’d come with Rupert and Emma and hadn’t a ride home. He leaned back against the cool brick exterior of the building and debated walking versus taking a taxi.

He’d just about decided to walk when Tom came out, obviously looking for him and Daniel tried to duck away, around the corner to the alley without being seen. Luck wasn’t his though and Tom saw him, following quickly and backing him against the wall.

“Daniel, don’t you know it’s rude to duck out in the middle of an interesting conversation?” His words were harsh, but his tone was soft.

Daniel looked down at the ground, trying to get a hold of his feelings, everything being thrown off kilter by Tom’s nearness.

“I’m sorry Tom, I was just feeling…” He didn’t know how to end that sentence, so he didn’t.

Strong but gentle fingers lifted his chin, forcing him to look into those startling blue eye’s. Tom’s other hand came up to brush Daniel’s bangs out of his eye’s and the soft touch made his breath hitch.

“I’ve been wanting to do that for years. Maybe since the first time I saw you.”

Daniel’s look was confused, and maybe a little hopeful and it tore at Tom’s heart, how scared the younger man looked.

“Daniel? Do you want me to leave you alone? I will, if you want me to.”

Daniel’s hands came up to grasp the front of Tom’s shirt. They were shaking, and he was breathing hard, but he hung on tightly.

“No, don’t….don’t go.” It was quiet, barely heard in the silence of the alley, but it was there.

Tom smiled down at him, and it was one Daniel hadn’t seen before and it felt good to have it directed at him.

One of Tom’s hands slid into Daniel’s hair, curving around the back of his skull, while the other fell to his waist and then slipped around to the small of his back, pulling him closer.

Daniel could feel the heat rolling off Tom and it felt like it was warming him to the core, melting places that Daniel didn’t even know were frozen.

“You really are short Daniel. It’s not every day I get to feel so tall.”

It was the last thing that Daniel expected him to say, and he leaned his forehead onto Tom’s shoulder as he chuckled and, oh god, he smelled fantastic. Like mint, and cigarette’s and some spicy cologne and he knew that it was something he wanted to smell over and over again.

He looked up into Tom’s eye’s, loving the glint of humor there. “I get to feel short every friggin day.”

Tom couldn’t help it. Daniel was just too adorable for words. He gathered him close, angled his head and softly brushed his lips over Daniels. There was a small gasp from the dark haired man and then he was kissing Tom back, his tongue slipping along the seam of Tom’s lips.

Tom finally let go and plundered that lush mouth. Daniel tasted of sugar, and vodka and something else that was plainly addictive, something just Daniel.

When they finally had to stop to breathe, they rested their foreheads together, both of them panting. Daniel’s hands had made their way up to snake around Tom’s neck while the older man’s had found their way to Daniel’s waist. Then one slipped back, sliding down to caress over Daniels bum, causing him to shudder and moan against Tom’s mouth.

Daniel couldn’t seem to get close enough. If this was going to be his one chance to be with the man of his dreams, literally, he was gonna take as much advantage as he could.

“You kissed me.” Daniel’s voice was low and sexy.

“You kissed me back.” Daniel could hear the smirk in Tom’s voice.

“I guess I did.” He still hadn’t let go of Tom, like he was afraid if he did, Tom would run away.

“How do you feel about that?” Tom wanted him to think about it because he didn’t want to do something that Daniel would regret later.

Daniel brought one hand to Tom’s cheek, holding it there, running a finger over that plush bottom lip that he had been dreaming about for so long.

“I’m pretty okay with it, all things considered.”

Tom leaned into the touch. “What things?”

“Considering that I’ve never kissed a man before. Never dreamed of being with any man before you.”

“Oh.”

Daniel smiled shyly up at him. “Yeah, oh.”

Tom still had one hand on Daniel’s arse, the other around his waist, holding him close.

“Do you want to come back to mine? Maybe consider some of those other things you might have been thinking about?”

Daniel looked at Tom, taking in the flushed skin and dark eyes. He could feel Tom’s hands holding him possessively and he knew that this was something that he wanted, maybe even needed and he wasn’t about to turn it down.

“Yeah, I think I do.”

Tom groaned and kissed him again, hard and dirty, before pulling back and grabbing Daniel’s hand. He led him along to his car, opening the passenger door and pushing Daniel in before striding around to his own door.

“You sure you’re okay to drive Tom?”

“I only had one drink.” He took a deep breath, turning, needing one more confirmation before he could believe it. “What about you? Do I need to worry that I’m taking advantage of someone not quite sober?”

Daniel’s eye’s were huge as he looked at Tom then he took his hand. “I only had one too. I’m in complete control of my faculties. I promise.”

Tom lifted Daniel’s hand, kissed his knuckles and started the car. “ Right then, let’s go."

They drove in companionable silence, holding hands the whole way, the radio playing softly. Daniel smiled as Tom sang along quietly with a couple of songs.

When they reached Tom’s place, he was pleased to discover it was a lovely little house, with a cottage sort of feel to it.

Tom got out quickly, coming around to open Daniel’s door and grabbing his hand to pull him out. They walked hand in hand toward the house, only letting go so Tom could unlock the door.

When they walked in, Tom dropped his keys on a small table in the entry way and then switched on a lamp, bathing the room in a soft glow. He turned back to look at Daniel, uncertainty in his eye’s and oh no, that wasn’t gonna happen now.

Daniel walked over and stood in front of Tom, looking up at him, placing both palms on his chest. Tom’s hands came up to Daniel’s hips as he looked down at him.

“Tom, please, I know I don’t know what I’m doing, but I want this.”

Tom leaned down and kissed him. It was soft and sweet but it made Daniel’s heart race.

“I just don’t want you to do anything you’ll regret later. I can live without having your body, but I don’t know if I can live without you being my friend.” He kissed him again. “As for not knowing what you’re doing? It doesn’t matter to me, except maybe, to make me feel more special?”

Daniel could see the honestly in those ocean blue eye’s and all it did was make him want Tom more.

“I will always be your friend Tom. No matter what happens here tonight.” His voice was quiet, like anything louder would be too much. “But, I’m thinking that I might like to be a little more?”

Tom reached up, brushing Daniel’s hair back again, then placing a tender kiss on his forehead. “I think I’d like that too.”

Daniel pushed up onto his toes as Tom curled down to meet him, their mouths finding each other in the middle. The kisses started gentle, a soft exploration that Tom was trying to keep control of, so as to not scare Daniel.

The dark haired man wanted more though. Even with Tom being so careful, it was nothing like kissing a woman. His lips were soft, but firm and strong and his arms wrapping around Daniel’s waist made him feel cared for and safe. He pushed closer.

Tom couldn’t believe that he was here, holding this incredible man in his arms. It was something he hadn’t dared to believe could happen. He had to pull back to breathe.

Daniel whimpered a little at the loss, but then took the opportunity to nuzzle into Tom’s long neck, experimenting with little sucking kisses and gentle nips, relishing every gasp and whimper from Tom’s mouth.

“Hmmm, you smell good.” Daniel had his nose pushed up behind Tom’s ear, taking in that wonderful scent he had smelled earlier.

Daniel’s breath against his skin was sending shivers up and down Tom’s spine, and he pulled him tighter to his body. He could feel the evidence of Daniel’s arousal against his thigh and knew that the other man had to feel his against his hip. If Daniel was going to panic, this would be the time.

But he didn’t. He just lifted one leg, curled it around Tom, and used it to pull himself closer.

Tom found himself pushing Daniel back, not even realizing he was moving him until the back of the smaller man’s thighs hit the back of the sofa.

“Jesus, Daniel. You’re so fucking hot!”

Daniel pushed up to find Tom’s lips again. “I need more, need something…”

Tom ran a gentling hand down Daniel’s back and leaned in to run his tongue along the curve of Daniel’s ear. “Shhh, I got you. I’ll give you what you need.”

The words caused a full body shudder to course through Daniel. This, he thought. This is what I’ve been missing, been needing.

Daniel was rubbing himself up against Tom’s hip, desperate for some kind of friction on his aching cock. Suddenly he felt hands at the hem of his shirt and he automatically lifted his arms so that Tom could remove it. Then his hands moved to the buttons of Tom’s button down.

With shaking fingers, he somehow managed to work the small pearly white buttons through their holes. When it was finally open, Daniel’s hands were inside, sliding up along sleek muscle and over hard little nipples, causing the older man to gasp.

The shirt had been soft, but the skin underneath was amazing. Daniel slid it the shirt off Tom’s shoulder’s, letting it fall to the floor, as he took in all the smooth creamy skin in front of him.
