Using the Potty At Night

My son is 3 and some change, has been daytime potty trained since 30 months.  He has been night time potty trained for 4 months now.  I first knew it was time for him to start wearing his undies to bed when he started waking up in the middle of the night and crying that he had to go potty.  He obviously would rather cry in his bed at night and be

oh i thought this was my post! you know, except or the pregnant and husband being a light sleeper etc. we don't (and won't) restrict Landon's liquids before bed and he always wakes up once a night. since he was 18ths he'd wake up every night just crying and we'd just bring him to bed and put him to sleep when we started noticing he had to pee. so he didn't realize it either so every sigle time was terrible. he'd scream and flail and we would have to wait out the storm until he peed, then he could go back to bed. he always wanted me, but I had Oliver nursing constantly and he's a light sleeper. so although he wanted ME he had to deal with Mike. he wasn't ok with it for maybe a week but eventually he accepted the change. now he comes in, tells Mike he has to come to bed iwth him, goes into the bathroom himself and pees and then mike goes and lays with him and I get the bed to myself (minus Oliver)
