My daughter thought of a Sims Challenge...

I'm sure it's been done before in some way, shape, or form... but my oldest daughter and I have been having fun with those kooky Cycle of Life animals from Simslice and she announced she was going to do a Farmer Challenge using them. She was also going to use other stuff I have, like the harvestable crops from SimAddict99 and the Maxis crops and ( Read more... )

I finally have a system I can play Sims2 on, but I've not installed any expansion packs or anything. I still need a lot more practice before I go around starting challenges or legacies. But if I could, I'd do this.

I've played this challenge and it is HARD. I wish your daughter luck.

Yes it is shaping up to be very difficult, lol! But I think that makes it fun. Of course my daughter starts off wanting her sim to get married and have oodles of babies right away, which makes it even harder. :D

This sounds great and I'd love to give it a try!

*waves hand in the air* I'd like the upload please! (remembers Teachers Pet fondly )

Wow, that sounds like a tough challenge! But what about other forms of earning money: painting, wishing from the Genie or wishing well, stock market (fortune perk), financial counseling (fortune perk), writing novels, or writing a culinary guide (pleasure perk). I'm sure some of those would take away from the challenge, but maybe a few of them could be okay. Just something to think about. :)

Just a thought that popped up... anonymous March 22 2009, 01:30:48 UTC
You could probably make it even harder by starting the family off in debt using Inge's Mortgage Shrubs from Simlogical. You could build the house without having to cheat, use the shrubs to make it affordable, and have your poor simmies work to pay off the debt.

This challenge makes me really want to get my game set up again after a recent loss of all game files. Thank you so much!! I felt really bad about the loss of my favourite couple, so I'd been putting it off, but now I'm going through and redownloading some of my cc so I can play again.
