I most certainly approve of this...

If this is old news to anyone I apologize, but I just came across this mod today and I had to share.

It's a male body hair overlay mod using AllenABQ's hair patterns!   Yes you heard it right, folks!  No more tedious editing of skintones in SimPE!  No more girls getting born with the hairy skin file and nipples not lining up to your Warlokk body ( Read more... )

Isn't it cute? Although it gives me the impression they are younger than what I think a teen sim ought to be. :P I always picture a teen sim (since they can drive and all) as being over 16, lol!

I found this mod when I was looking for the AllenABQ skins (totally your fault). I've tried both and find that in my game I get odd shadows with his skins and that the overlay doesn't persist from one gaming session to the next. All I have to do is go back and reapply it each time but I'm forgetful. I agree it's handy though.

Yes I haven't had the shadow issue but I did notice that when I exit completely out of my game and then go back in, I have to reapply the overlay. It's not a huge deal; mostly just an annoyance though. I rarely ever exit completely out of the game... I run it in a window and minimize it when I'm not playing for the most part.

Hopefully they'll figure out a way to get it to stick all the time. I know over on MATY they were working on it, but I don't know if they've abandoned that or not.

You know what? I'm dl-ing this!

I'm soooooooo not a fan of male body hair IRL, but dammit, sometimes the uniform look of sims bugs the crap out of me. I'd like to see a guy show up every now and then with it (yea, I get that I have to do it manually).

...You know, I'm REALLY tempted to stick this on my drag queen Abhijet D. (Oh come on! You KNOW he'd be a hairy beast IRL).

(I miss simming! I can't wait for April so I can play again! T_T)

Hee hee I'm the opposite. I think men IRL without body hair don't look grown up yet. :P (totally my own personal taste, though.)

But yes, all Sims having the same "look" when it comes to their body bugs me too. That's why this mod is even more awesome, because it has several hair patterns to choose from! :D

Oh that is very cool. I didn't want to have hairy skins in there, but now I can choose if I want them to be hairy!!

Ooh, this is tempting.

Can alien skins have body hair, too?

(and I'm still snerking over the mention of girls having the body hair--you should have taken a pic that would have been hilarious)

I haven't tried it on an alien sim yet... but I'm sure they can, because it's just an overlay and can go on all skins. I really need to pop into my Strangetown and give Johnny Smith some man-fur. :P

Hee... that really would be funny with the girls having the body hair but that's not exactly what happens. The female version of this skin is pretty run-of-the-mill when it comes to girly bits, with some token nipple spots. However, the nipple spots don't line up properly with the Warlokk mesh that makes the sims have poky nipples (yes I do have that, lol) So you end up with the nipple spot in one place and the actual nipple from Warlokk somewhere else. :P
