I love electronics but I don't know what I would do with them.

The title says it all.

For example, I love mini-computers like this one from HP.  Just love them.  I think they are adorable.  I would love to carry one with me at all times.

I also love Blackberries and other PDA's (Public Displays of Affection?  *snerk*)   I have wanted an electronic organizer for YEARS... and they just keep getting better!

Oh, geez... I so know what you mean. I would love to have a laptop, a PDA, etc. Need them? Um, not so much.

One of the best things about going back to school was finally having a really good excuse to want an MP3 player for Christmas - something I use for every commute instead of, as it previously would have been, something that moldered in my closet while I stayed home and listened to MP3s on my PC. *Huggles her iPod Shuffle*

I have this problem, though not always with electronics. I recently bought four handheld organizers because I thought they were so neat and ... organizey. But wtf am I going to do with them?! barely need one, let alone four.

I used to have a laptop, but I never used it. I mean, I used it, but I set it on my desk and never took it anywhere. So finally when it was time for a new computer I just got a desktop. There was really no point in having a laptop. Like you, I rarely go anywhere.

I just came to the realization yesterday that the idea of me having a laptop is ridiculous. D: I still want one.

Incidentally, last month I was phone shopping (my poor Cherry Chocolate was practically dead) and I really wanted the pink Blackberry Curve (it's gorgeous in real life, I'd still love to have one) unfortunately through verizon it costs $35 just to OWN it... in addition to the regular monthly charges.

I feel the same! I don't need an iphone or other pda stuff, because I rarely need to use the net when I'm out. It helps that I can't afford that stuff, so I'm not tempted!

I have a PDA and a desktop and a laptop ... and I still want a netbook. :blush: I know exactly what you mean! I'm lucky, though, that my husband is also a technology addict. Pretty soon I'll be waving the laptop under his nose, and I know I'll be able to trade it for a netbook (once the second generation is on the market). My husband has blackberry envy. He's putting it off for now because he doesn't need it, but I know it's only a matter of time before he gets one. Probably after income tax return time. Considering how much he indulges my own wants, though, I think he deserves it.

Of course, after buying that there'll be something else we want/crave. It never ends!
