I just called the title office that we're working with (the ones that did the initial title search for us) and had them take care of it. I'm sure they'll send me a bill for it, but omg... I'm just so incredulous about the whole thing that I don't know where to start.
It's almost become a personal goal for me now... to get that dang title on that land cleaned up, because it should have been done ten years ago and instead there's been weird companies jockeying it back and forth. I mean, look at this...
