Maxis Taste Dare #30: I DO!

This Dare made me think about all the times (ALLLL THE TIMES) I've gotten Vidcund Curious married off, and I started wondering how many old screenshots I could find of the weddings.

I actually didn't find as many as I thought I would (found more dirty bedroom scenes than anything else, teehee) but here's some I was able to rustle up!

Ha! this is crack up. Makes me wish I had piks of every time I married Goopy to various characters. I'd have about 10.

I know TSR is supposed to be evil, but I can't be angry at it. I have too many good memories there! To this day I still think my favorite Sims story ever was the one about that prison in Strangetown where Loki Beaker was the warden by... omg that was like the first ever Asylum challenge, wasn't it?

Had to go look it up... "Hard Time at Hardwell Prison" by monks_redemption.

But yeah, TSR being evil doesn't mean everyone and everything ever posting/posted on their forums is evil. In the beginning, I didn't know any better, I just wanted a place to chat to some other Sims-playing people. :P

I really love my TS3 Vidcund, but as of yet he's the *only* sim I've ever really been able to love out of that game lol! Well... he's had a few sons that I've liked, too. In my current TS3 game he's had two sons, both of which are pretty cool. Any daughters he has though, and well... just the females in that game in general let's be honest... are just too derpy for words and I end up killing them off. >:|

You totally should dig through some old pics! It really made me want to start playing again... not that I'll write long stories or anything like that again, but I'm seriously considering starting a new Strangetown game and playing a Viking Death Challenge-inspired game!

I feel like such a slacker with my mere 3 or 4 versions of Strangetown (only one of which would qualify as a play-through)!

These are fantastic. Very fun post. And I love the Sims 3 version of Vidcund - he looks perfect! Very Vidlike. :D

I think I'm just too obsessed with Strangetown and the Curious brothers. :S They have to come into every one of my sims games somehow! I even have a Vidcund in WoW... he's a warlock that does... what else... herbology! Granted there are NO resemblences to the real Vid except for the blond hair and fair skin... but hey...

I'm hopeless! XD

I've re-created characters across the Sims-WoW divide, too. My first WoW character was a Pixel. And yeah, no real resemblance, but the idea was there.

Vidcund will always be special to me as he gave me my beloved Pixel and Bean. ♥
