So I left the World of Warcraft guild I was in.  I'm okay with that decision, and although I'll miss some of the people in that guild, I'm looking forward to being a part of a new guild.  Of course, Brian is wanting to quit the guild and move on too... but he wants me to go in the game and do it for him.  -_-

Okay, uhhhh.... I understand you are ( Read more... )

I saw a Titanic exhibit years ago in Memphis. It gave me goosebumps seeing all the things they pulled up from the ocean floor (like jars of olives that were still intact). It's also eerie knowing that's a big ole grave they were plundering.

It was really, really awesome to see everything they had brought up... and this exhibit also did a recreation of one of the halls on the upper deck (looked just like the movie set lol) and also a portion of the Grand Staircase and a First Class cabin.

What struck me the most was how tiny everything was. I mean, I know stuff was smaller back then because people were smaller in general... looking at my grandmother's antique furniture was enough to tell me that... but geez! Was no one six feet tall back in those days?

That sounds exactly like something my husband would do...

The Titanic exhibit sounds interesting! :)

lol well... he just hates making decisions in general. Last night I hadn't /gquit for him, and I was off running the weekly raid with my new guild, while he was standing in Dalaran looking for something to do. :\ He never did quit on his own, lol... although the people in our old guild have to know it's coming since we came in as a set... we'd likely leave as one too. So this morning I got up and /gquit for him first thing.

Now you watch... he'll be all twitchy because I did it. MEN!

The Titanic exhibit was really cool to see. I don't think the kids liked it as much as I did, but I thought it was neat. :)

My boyfriend and I (when we have quit guilds in the past) will log on like in the middle of the night when no one or hardly anyone is on and quit haha and then we'd send a letter to the GM or whoever explaining why and etc.

But yea, I wish you look in your new guild! Have you applied/joined a new one yet?

OMG that's EXACTLY what I did lol! I logged on and /gquit at about 5:00am my time, which is 2:00am realm time, lol... then I wrote an in-game note to the GM and a few other members, saying I really loved the people in the guild and how I hoped there were no hard feelings, blah blah, but it just wasn't a fit for my playstyle any longer and etc, etc ( ... )
