We didn't get any rain yesterday and they had been building it up alllll week and then *poof*... it all disappeared.  Yes, Illinois and Indiana got some good rain, but it pissed out just as it arrived in Ohio.  Bleh.

So that's kind of a bummer.  But we have another chance for it coming in Friday I guess. We really need it now, because the corn is

You can most definitely have some of ours. So much rain! (which is just as well, I didn't finish the irrigation system this year before I got too busy, and my plants, thankfully, are doing just fine, despite my neglect).

In fact, you can have this Saturday's rain, as my sister is getting married (outdoors, at the farm, but she did get a nice big tent, just in case).

So I will ask the spirits to move the approaching storm down south a wee bit. ;)

Oh, that would be SO nice. :) We need it soooooooo bad!

I have high hopes for tomorrow, but the weather people are saying it won't amount to much. But how can it go from 86F high today down to 71F high on Saturday and NOT get some rain in between? I hope we get some! And I will gladly take your rain away for Saturday! :D

how tall was your corn before it started tasseling? one of mine is knee high and already tasseled. i collected the pollen, but i'm afraid it'll still be too short for decent size ears.
