I joined LJ last year to follow a few authors who moved their fanfic to LJ from FF.Net, but I've remained quiet in the D/E community until recently.  I'm a first-year law student, so this year has been incredibly hectic for me.  Things have finally started to settle down (not really, but I'm going crazy without an outlet), so I've decided to get a

D/E hooked me in around the finale of S1, and I've been hooked ever since. I've never shipped before, so this is new for me, and rather intense.

I always love hearing how people got into Delena, and it's great to hear from another shipper.

Shipping a couple can definitely be intense, especially when you get so invested. As much as I'm enjoying the build-up to D/E, a part of me wishes the show would hurry up and get there. Hopefully, the show rewards us for our patience. :)

Lol! I read your blurb and was like--a kindred spirit. I am also a *huge* Buffy/Angel fan. I've written a ton of fics for them at ff.net under the name Angel's Blue Eyed Girl. They were my first, and truthfully, my eternal fave ship of all time!

Then I found TVD and I loved Damon. Ian's beauty and Damon's badness just drew me in like a magnet to metal. lol!

Funny you mentioned B/A because TNT just got done replaying season 1 of Ats and I saw IWRY again just a couple weeks ago and I was again reminded why I loved B&A so very much!

We definitely are kindred spirits! I don't think I'll ever love a couple more than I loved B/A. I have to include Angelus in that ship as well. Speaking of which, I've started to read your B/A fanfic, and I love your characterizations of Buffy, Angel, and Angelus. There haven't been many great B/A fanfic since the show ended, so I was happy to find yours.

Damon drew me to TVD as well. I was just flipping channels when I came upon Damon in the S2 finale. Ian Somerhalder is without a doubt one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen.
