I had so many wonderful communications with Cynthia about my writing in my journal. She was such a wonderful reader and made such thoughtful, insightful comments. I didn't really communicate with her much by email, but I will point you to a discussion she was involved in which demonstrates yet another reason why I loved her.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Cynthia quickly gained a lot of friends in fandom for her warm and kindness, and she's very much missed.
