There was no fail in the first version. Enough with that already. The final version, however, I have just finished reading, and you did a tremendous job in keeping it yours while still fleshing it out until it was a vivid, well-rounded scene. I was more than happy to help point out the bits that just...needed a little more. Any time. ♥

As for the fic, you helped so enormously that I almost wanted to just put you as the other author. You really edited it and your comments made things more real than I ever ever could dream of. You are awesome and I will forever be grateful for you as a person in my life.

I really really REALLY adore this. (And the title + your current music are made of epic win, just saying.)

so yeah, i totally LOVE that you continued from the northern lights 'verse, because that story made me cry and flail. so. hard.
i loved this as well and i think it came to together beautifully, especially considering, as you said, it's a little outside your comfort zone.
that said, i hope i don't get too much hate from others for saying that i still really like the simple, poignant signature of your more PG-13 rated fics.
like, if you're happy to move into a bit of pron now and then, i wouldn't discourage you! BUT, i really hope you also keep writing your other non-pron stuff, because you do it SO beautifully, and i really enjoy it...
i look forward to more of your cookleta ^_^ *is greedy*

I assure you that I won't be going NC anytime soon. Or even R. It was just a test, you know? I've been in fandom for 16 years and sometimes I fear that I'm boring everything to tears so I figured I would try. And it ended up being an amazing chance to work with someone who means a lot to me and kind of remind me why I put the barrier on my writing as it was. I prefer to write PG13. Nothing against the more mature stuff but it just isn't me.
So I'm glad you liked it, thank you so much for reading it and for just being sweetly awesome.
