"and don't mind my nerve, you could call it fiction."

So really long story short, I had a shitty morning. A really... really... really... shitty morning. And I was miserable and depressed and sore and I went to my mom's house to find out that the crazy woman had injured (possibly broken!) her foot and drove herself to the hospital because it was her left foot and you know. In some universe this makes ( Read more... )

It's why my momma is my best friend, she knows what I need. ;)

And no, it wasn't (though I've see that one). It was the one where the girl came the DAY BEFORE HER WEDDING) and destroyed her cake cause she didn't like it. Like, took food coloring and squirted it all over this (gorgeous) cake. And he STILL made her another one and she didn't even apologize/thank him. What a freaking bitch. I would have freaked out on her. Her mom was sweet and apologetic and all I could think was, "No. Give her the broken cake and make her deal with it, the five year old."

Your Mom! Oh, my goodness! I can't believe she drove to the hospital. I'm ...idk, horrified? Like all I can think is "what if something had happened?!" I'm glad she's (mostly) okay though and you had a good day with her as well. ♥

Hooray for your big bang! If you ever need someone to look over it, I'm more than willing to. Oddly enough, I feel the need to beta, like maybe it would kick-start my writing again? Idk; I'm weird. lol

I know, right? I freaked out at her. She seriously thought that just because it was "early" in the morning I would be annoyed at her for having to pick her up. Any annoyance is moot versus the annoyance of her possibly getting in a car accident. I made her promise to call me the second she found anything out and then took her car keys. (Which she did when I was having leg problems so I feel a little justified.)

And oh my gosh, I am totally taking you up on this offer. Tonight, when I finish the chunk I write today and do a little clean up I'm going to send it to you. There isn't much yet, but I have the plot down mostly and I just need to know if it is a) boring b) makes sense and c) is in character. So basically you RULE. ♥

I think it must be a mom thing? Mom always thought she was inconveniencing me too. So weird. I think you were completely justified taking her keys. I'll back you up on that decision. :)

Hooray! I just bought MS Office for my pretty new Macbook so I am all set to beta. :) I will warn you ahead of time that I'm babysitting until 10pm my time tonight (without internet) so I probably won't get started on it until tomorrow morning at the earliest. I'm really excited though! :)

It's the one thing that will break me if we ever have to move. It sounds silly and cheesy but my two best friends are my mom and my husband and to have to leave one behind will break my heart!

Thanks though, both of us are feeling better. :) *hugs back*
