I am enjoying this beating up on Rockies thing. Cause even if we lose the next two (which I doubt) we won't give them the sweep and that makes me all warm and fuzzy. I haven't had a "rival" team since the Bulls and that was in 1994 so it is a nice feeling

Amen! I get so many weird looks when I start quoting kids' movies and stuff. I just shrug and say "Hey, I work with kids 6 days a week. I think I'm allowed." :))

OMG, I was embarrassingly close to storming the field. Like, thank bob for Timm close. Cause Byrnes was RIGHT THERE. Thirty feet from my seat, and he was SO HOT. I took like 100 pictures. It was embarrassing/awesome! :)

Also, the other day I said, "A person is a person, no matter how small." and the guy at Starbucks stared so blankly at me I thought I could cry. Who doesn't remember Seuss? REALLY!

How sad! I read "Fox in Socks" to the twins I watch last night. They both went through the book and "read" it first (which basically amounted to turning every page and saying some variation of "fox" "socks" and "box" but they're four so it's adorable) then they died laughing when I tried to make my way through it. Oh, the tongue twisters Dr. Suess could come up with. ;)

I love Dr. Suess. I asked for Dr. Suess books for my college graduation-- didn't get any. (Didn't spend the gift money on any either--I fail) But I love Oh the Places You'll Go

I got "Oh the Places You Will Go" for my graduation from High School, and though I TOTALLY acted too-cool-for-school about it I read it all summer before college started. ;)

And, I DID! We won! 10-3! *dance*
