Vacation Lands

The vacation was wonderful, relaxing and everything you want in a vacation.
We drove our 14-hour drive through the plains and arrived around 11pm Saturday night. Needless to say we were very tired. Guy was mostly just tired of being in the car. He travels great though.

Sounds lovely! You know, there are times when I think that I could live up there again... if only I knew some cool people. Our problem in Rochester was just that it was hard for us to make friends. But I love the area and the four seasons. Whenever autumn comes, I think about fall in Minnesota.

I still haven't seen a fall up there yet. Mate Ron says that is the best time of year there. I keep getting closer, this time you could feel fall in the air. It is beautiful--but not a good place to live. Have you forgotten the winters, the humidity, and the bugs?
