Looks like the ones who are left behind who aren't so lucky.

You must have begun posting this story before I added you to my flist,so I had to go back and play catch up before I got to this chapter. Which is excellent - BTW. Loving the fic, love the grimness, happy to see a few survivors and cringing at the thought of how it might go when Spike finally finds Buffy.

Great chapter. I really love the dystopian environment you've created in this story. It doesn't feel cliche or overused. Everyone's more in the shock and exhausted stage of the aftermath and it comes across so clearly with all of the characters. Very intrigued to read more.

Also wanted to say "hi" and let you know I've added you as a friend. I read your previous story and thought it was great too.

The wedding memory! God, it's so good. Both the interaction between Buffy and Spike, and their memories of their own wedding, and the wonderful moment with Xander remembering Anya. Just makes it all the more painful to think about what they've lost.

Such a wrenching picture of what happened to Willow, too.

I enjoyed writing the wedding part very much, so I'm glad you liked it!
