Rory loves the Doctor and will stand beside him before armies and certain death . . . but it's every man for himself when the Doctor pisses off Amy and/or River. Smart Roman.

Okay, this is simply brilliant. I have no other words to describe it. Haven't giggled so much while reading a fic since... well, since a very long time :D.
(Also, Moffat would be proud of you for almost-killing Rory so many times xD).

(Also, I had to kill Rory! It's like a right of passage in DW now. :D And also way too much fun. I wonder what he did to annoy the universe. Maybe father River? Nah, the universe should THANK him for that.)

(I am wondering what on earth Arthur Darvill did to piss Moffat so much, that he kills him in almost every episode xD. Also, Rory being brought to life over and over again is the universe way of saying 'thank you' for bringing River to this galaxy ^^).

Well, at least on AD's version of a resume, he can say he has plenty of experience in death scenes. Maybe that'll help him land a great role in a Shakespearean play for the Royal theatre or something similar.

I ADORE this fic. The reactions to a sexist planet? Fabulous. And Rory being all confusedly paternal? Just so spot on. And the awkward-but-sexy-because-it's-them flirting in front of the parents? LOVE.

I actually laughed out loud, which is a rarity for me with fiction, when the Doctor described how they should blend in. Somehow I knew that wasn't going to fly with River or Amy. ;)

Oh, I'm so glad you liked this, cassi0pe04! (BTW, is there a shorter name I can call you?) I'm so glad that you believed the characterization, particularly for Rory's confused paternal feelings. This was obviously the first time I've written with that as a characterization point for any of them. And I'm very happy that you liked the awkward flirting in front of the parents. I had so much fun writing this. I'm just completely jazzed that you found it funny enough to laugh out loud. And yeah, there's no way in hell River and/or Amy was ever going to put up with that nonsense. What strong person would? Thank you very much for reading and replying! I love your feedback. :D

Cassiopeia, rather than the l33t version that's my username is slightly shorter to type. Cassi or Cassy (I've written in both ways in the past) also works. :)

I love how you managed to write River as firmly not okay with putting up with the sexist bullshit in public, but still flirting, almost as though saying, "if you wanted to role play, you should have just said so, Sweetie." :D

I was going to call you 'Cassi' but I try not to make nicknames for people without asking first. Never know if certain ones have a bad memory attached to them. (BTW, you can call me whatever you like. I respond to Muse and S most instinctively on the internet though ( ... )
