Several weeks ago I discovered the band Great Big Sea was playing in Chicago at the House of Blues. prisonbitch introduced them to me last year and I thought they were great, so I jumped on the opportunity and planned a quick weekend to see them and visit mikiedoggie.

i'm so glad you enjoyed the show. i would have felt awful if they sucked. but they never have before!

but at least your car wasn't stolen.

I feel horrible I was completely oblivious to the overnight tow ban. And glad for the visit! Come again soooooon!!!!!

What a weekend! Sounds like you had a blast (except for that little thing with parking). Oh, well, at least you supported the Chicago economy by $160. :) It's been a long time since I've been to a good concert.
