I had a lovely dinner at Akash India with Mike and Gary (bigmacbear and gmjambear) last night. Finally getting to meet Gary was great! We tried to eat dinner at Rock Bottom, then at McCormick & Schmick's, but there were hour-long waits for both. On a Wednesday night! Maybe it's just the holiday timing, but it makes me happy to see so many people downtown.

I knew we had quite a few LJ friends in common, but I didn't know you knew Mike and Gary. Both very sweet guys, and great friends. I'm glad you got a chance to meet Gary in person. I am very fortunate to have gotten to know them when they lived in Rochester and made it to Toronto fairly frequently, before the big move to Seattle.

If you get a chance before they head back out west, please give them both big hugs from me.
