Dang, you're right... It's 90% political. I think I'm going to avoid my town's parade just because of that. That and after Seattle's gay pride parade, there's just no way it can be that exciting. :D

Is it just me, or there not much of a crowd gathered?

Well, I tried to find a spot where there wouldn't be too many people stepping in front of the camera... but you're right, in the mile-long stretch, there really weren't that many people out. It looked like mostly people who happen to live along the route.

I think after a Pride parade, none of these community parades would really compare anyway ;)

Daytime or evening? I'll need to ask for the day off if we go during the day. Not a problem, I just need to know.

Politicians Might Be Boring... demcub July 5 2005, 13:38:17 UTC
But one of them is vital to Cincinnati. David Crowley - who has a contingent in picture 12 is a huge advocate for the GLBT community in Cincinnati. He was a powerful force behind the repeal of Article 12 there, and needs to be reelected. Plus, he owns a great, althought straight, bar, and his daughter works with us here at HRC. :)

We love David Crowley. He comes to lots of chorus and GLBT events.

We also love David Pepper and secretly suspect he's one of us.

What is it with Davids?
