Now... I'll be the first to admit that I'm a big fan of remixes, and I will even openly state that I like the oomp-cha-oomp-cha 4/4 clubby tracks, but sometimes they all start to sound the same... it's not a complaint mind you, just a statement of fact... This is the second time I've seen this in two days. Why do I not know what it means?

4/4 is a standard Beat notation for Rhythm patterns. Dance Music is roughly and largely based on a 4/4 beat. To illustrate my definition think I will use a Bass Drum= Boom, and a Hi Hat= Tiss. So a 4/4 would sound like this: Boom-Tiss-Boom-Tiss-Boom-Tiss-Boom-Tiss
