Grades
Final grades for summer semester have been posted. There's good news and bad news. I've always preferred to hear the bad news first, so here it is: No A's at all. The good news is, no C's either. I got two B's and two B+'s. So, my GPA took a hit, but not nearly as bad as it could have been. The hardest semester of my life, I'll take all B/B -
Over
Well, the hardest semester of my life is over. That was terrible. I very well may be getting my first C ever. In fact, maybe Cs. Oi. My Operating Systems test that I took on Wednesday and thought I did awesome on it was actually only a 68. And the class average was in the upper 80's! I thought I had done great! :-( Grrrr. So my friend Jill had posted on her LJ mention of a French song called "Mourir Demain" by Natasha St. Pier. I looked into it since I'm always in search of good new French music, and it's amazing! So, I was able to get into the Commercial French class this fall that Prof. Ciesco teaches. I tried earlier, but it was full. I guess it was just good timing that I was able to snag a seat! So this was a fun weekend. Friday I finished class at 3:10 and had the whole afternoon free to relax. My Engineering Economy class no longer meets on Fridays. Woo hoo! Well, the semester's starting to get interesting. Homework assignments are coming due, I've got labs to work on for Microprocessors, and I've even had an exam already, though it was so easy, I felt insulted. Classes are now in full swing and I finally feel like I'm settled back in. That was an incredible trip, but man does it feel great to be back home. I've got to go to a cookout at my aunt's house in Orlando on Saturday, but with that exception, I have no travel plans at all for the rest of summer. I've had my fill of moving around for now.
