The move to southwest Iowa in 1976 was a bit of a compromise. I wanted to teach in the state that generally sets the standards for what public education should be, to teach Spanish, and to provide the wholesome rural environment that I felt would be best for my three young children. I'll see what I can do about some pictures. Naturally most of the "family pictures" are with my ex, but I have the advantage of lots of high school yearbooks with candid pictures plus some others.

I wondered about the risk of naming the college, but if the old geezer is still around, I don't care if he knows what I said. If we could visit in person, I'd be more specific.
