Yay! it did work.

And that is excellent excellent news about D. Really pleased to hear it.

Am going to sort out some supper now, as it is 8pm and I have just spent ages looking at my landlord's new 'toys' - models of soldiers and a Normandy farm house and a yurt - and he sang me his death song he is composing. My landlord is great.

Yes, I am still in Juneau, but with new email. Tnx for the letter!! Can't seem to get thru on replying to your email, but I somehow found this journal. Now is there some way of exchanging email addresses that's not public? ==>Lee

I have unscreened you now.

My email probably has changed - my proper one died and I had to get a new one. But do you still have my hotmail one? My old one from, gosh, like 5, 6 years ago? That one still works.

p.s. Had to read a book last month for bookgroup that I thought I was going to hate about hippies in California and then in Alaska, but it turned out to be pretty enjoyable - TC Boyle, Drop City - have you read it? Made me think of you, anyway, and of Doug and of Bobby Lee...

So from the msg I got when I posted, it seems I could post my email to your journal as long as it is screeened first by you and erased instead of displayed??

Nah, it just only shows up to me until I unscreen it. That's to prevent weird spammie emails showing up, not that I've ever had much problem with that on here.
