Collective Rec Post
Read a good book lately? In need of a good book to read? How about a great CD or band?
There are times we come across something great and wish everyone else knew about it...and there are times you just can't seem to find anything worthwhile
So, here's the Collective Rec Post.
Have a book or author you've been dying to tell everyone about? This is the place. Listened to a song and wish everyone else knew about it, too? Also the place.
How to do it? Well, that's simple: There will be Books: Adult and Books: Young Adult comments for books and Music: Album, Music: Artist, & Music: Song for music.
All you do is reply to the applicable comment (example, if you wanted to rec Twilight you would reply to Books: Young Adult with 'Twilight by Stephenie Meyer' and perhaps why you think people should read it.)
(Also, if you think a book* would go well with another book*, then you can reply to the comment rec'ing that book* with your rec. (Example: If you wanted to rec New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, you could reply to the Twilight comment or the Books: Young Adult comment....or both I suppose.) *Also goes for music
Putting titles and authors in the comment subjects would be nice, too :)
Also, since my LJ's a friendly place and I don't want any drama...nothing spoilery about the sequel(s) to any books please. (You can rec them...just don't spoil things in you're 'why' part of the rec.)
