We may need you to go to the pet store from now on...or find a different pet store...we kind of scared the hell out of everyone there...heh...

He was getting some stares in the parking lot, so he said, "If anyone asks, I'm an axe-murderer who just got out of prison, on probation." I said I'd be a deranged serial killer who just got released from the insane asylum. We... acted the parts. And we asked to look at really ugly cats, named one of 'em "Cupcake" ... I had a creepy grin, and an evil laugh, and talked all disgustingly sweet to the cat, and Kenpachi was his intimidating self but more crazy and threatening. The poor clerk looked like he was ready to run screaming from the store. If it wasn't completely hilarious, I would've felt bad for the guy.

All right well - I'll try to explain to him that the words came out of your mouth, not mine.

Of course. He expects that from me, not you.

Give my regards to your brother (or sympathies, depending on how badly you may end up beating him during your visit).

Dinner or something sounds great. Depending on the nature of the "or something," maybe I should pick up some protective gear....

He won't need your sympathies, I swear.

And I think you'll be able to get by without a helmet or anything of the sort, provided you keep your hands to yourself unless given permission to do otherwise.

I'll have to take your word on that, I suppose.

Yes. Because that's the protective gear I was referring to. Because I would never do anything at all without permission.

I jest, of course. For the most part. :)

I was refusing to acknowledge any other potential meanings of your statement.

And I never said you were the type of guy to try anything without permission. You'll say all kinds of things without permission, which is what makes you so entertaining, but you're too considerate to actually do anything unless you know it's welcome. Which is good, or you really would need a helmet for a date with me.
