Corwin speech progress!

I'm not sure we've hit 'language explosion' just yet, but Corwin is definitely starting to incorporate new words into his spoken vocabulary. In the past two days he has added "Hi," "Bye," and "Bob" (though Bob still has no ending consonant...*sigh*). YAY! That's awesome! Little children learning the english language always amazes me... it's pretty awesome to see them making progress and having new little discoveries like that. ^_^

That's great! Dropping ending sounds is very normal. Your ears adjust. Heck, my ears have adjusted to words that Alastair says inside his mouth. Also look for sound substitution. Most kids at 2 or even as old as 4 or 5 have problems with R's and L's. If he has a new sound in his vocabulary try adding new words that have the same starting sound. Once he gets the end sound down, he'll have a whole bunch of new words.

Corwin was very talkative sunday! It was lots of fun interacting with him.

I think my favorite was shortly after Me and Mahtab arrived, when he tried to kick us out by making his car sign and saying "Bye!" ;)
