Sorry to hear that Corwin is sick. I hope he feels better soon.

I hope things have settled down, and now that you are home Corwin will do better. Colds seem to be going around. Sallie has one, Sarah had one, and I think Keith is getting one. Not a great way to start the holiday season. Anyway, I hope he feels better. Aunt Jan

Giant's "Li'l Giant Tricycle." It'll last forever. Really. It won't rust, won't scuff the floors so long as you keep the wheels cleaned up, and with a wooden runner board, it'll hold the weight of a friend on the back. And you should be able to find it cheaper than their listed price.

Looked at the link. It mentions 10" and 12" options. Is that wheel size? [EDIT: Duh, yes, it's wheel size. But the question still stands as to how we know which we need. :) I'm guessing the 12" since Corwin is such a big kid?] Or something else? And how do we know which we need?

We were hoping to make this a "from Santa" present, so don't really want to take him along shopping for it if possible. :)

10". The 12" is for kids who are big enough for real bicycles, but just don't have the balance to manage it. My nephew, for instance, who was born with hydrocephalia. He may never be able to balance on a real bike.

Matthew rode on the 10" version until his 4th birthday, which is when he was ready to graduate to a 16" bicycle.

I second the Giant Tricycle recommendation. Peter loves his, and rides it around and around Mom&Dad's house. Inside and out!
