Amazon.com Recommendations
I was futzing around with Amazon.com's recommendations a bit ago (ostensibly checking for things to order for the library), and was amused to find that based on my reading and musical choices, they think I need to eat more salad!

Since I like Garbage's Bleed Like Me and have the novel Time Traveller's Wife on my wishlist ( Read more... )

I'm glad they're keeping Gilmore Girls. Sarah borrowed seasons 1 and 2 on DVD at Christmas, and we watched them all. I am now hooked on a prime time soap opera. Gah! I need to borrow seasons 3 and 4 from you some time so I can found out all the stuff that went on after season 2. I have been trying to watch the current ones, but I am kind of lost, and I hate all the commercials. The DVDs spoiled me that way.

my family got addicted to the show in the first few seasons, but don't have time to watch every one of them... i've discovered that this makes for excellent presents for the next few years in order to catch up on them. *insert evil laugh here*

DVDs do spoil you in that way, but it's such a wonderful way! ^_^

No problem! :)

I much prefer watching TV shows on DVD now, too. Though I still have trouble finding/making the time to do so. I did finally finish the last season of Buffy a while back, though :)

Actually, my bad. Turns out it uses the American spelling with only one 'l'. Me and my British-isms. ;)

I'm gonna order a copy for the library (since it turns out I haven't done so already), and I'll check that out when it comes in. There are perks to being in charge of ordering the library's fiction! :)

Strange... but eating more salad is probably a good thing. ;)

I'm glad they're keeping Gilmore Girls... it's about the only WB show I watch these days.

A friend of mine wrote this post on the vatican copyright:
