I looooooooooove folklore and superstition, especially when people are trying to find out where folk beliefs originated. My grandparents have a full set of the Foxfire anthologies, and all of the folklore about haints and spooks of Appalachia was absolutely delightful to me. I mean, they're ALL really cool books, but those in particular are amazing.
