Those of you on Twitter or Facebook or both may have already seen that I was toying around with an idea for a new jewelry series. I was going through my paints--and mourning my lack of funds to buy a kiln so I can play with hot glass--and trying to think about what would give me the most pleasure. I think that's an amazing idea. I wish you could do art for some of my songs. lol

I'd love to hear them. I probably could do art for them, if you wanted.

Most of them aren't recorded yet. Most of them aren't very good either. Lol

Oh, Lord, you WERE angsty. But in a Sylvia Plath sort of way, which isn't bad at all. I'm listening to "Rise" right now, and am listening to "Slow Burn" next. Are there other mp3s or am I just not seeing them?

"Rise" is a primarily red background, with gold over it--translucent, delicate, and shards of pale blue and inky blue/black everywhere. Little curvy white lines.

I think it's totally worth it and would go over well. You could pick out select songs in any genre, but it would also be interesting to see you do a category of music with an item for each of the key players. For instance, I did an e-tailer earring series for the Art Nouveau movement, which is my platform art aesthetic, and each pair of earrings was named after a key artist from that movement.

Hmmmmmmm. That's actually a really good idea. And there are definitely some genres I could do that for. Oh God. Baroque composers! Ohhh, Alicia, you are brilliant.
