Tessy went to the vet today.

Today was a rather adventurous day for Tess. First of all, Tessy is an inside kitty. A very spoiled inside kitty who thinks she's hot shit...until she ends up outside. Which she did last night. Daddy and I finished closing in the back porch this weekend, which meant he was in and out last night, sitting in front of the heater he'd put out there.

Penny tries to hide in her box when she's at the vet's, though she struggles not to be put in it back home.

Tess hid in her box as well. We ended up having to take the top off completely, though she still hunkered down in it and glared at us. All we could see were the tops of her ears.

I love when they're surprisingly affectionate. I'm glad she's okay.

Me too. I can't stand seeing an animal sick or in pain. A kitty cold is so preferable to any major illness.

I have to trick Abby to get her in the carrier, but after that she's silent. She's weird about being outside the house, like she gets completely overwhelmed by all the smells and noises.

It can be pretty scary for them.
