I'm me. I'm Julie, I'm a wife and a dog-mom and an assistant manager at a store. I'm unique and interesting (sometimes) and quiet and giving and... I'm lots of things.
We met on MW, quite a while back I'm sure. I think there was a thread for people who were on Livejournal.
I read your entries like I read everyone elses. Sometimes I skim, sometimes I read in depth. Sometimes I comment, but not always. It just depends on how much time I've got and if I feel like I have something meaningful to contribute. I care about you, though, and I do pay attention to the things you write and I keep you in my thoughts.
Hi Julie. You were actually one of the people who I could not remember where, exactly, we met. Was it MW? Was it BPAL? Was it somewhere in the bowels of LJ? I was not sure. I thought it might be MW. How did you come to be on MW? I found my way there after a girl from Diaryland mentioned it in a discussion about paganism. I was curious about paganism.
I think I found MW just by searching the internet for stuff about paganism, because I was curious about it as well. I don't really participate there anymore. Such is life!
I read about 90% of your entries.I say 90% because there are some days when I don't get on LJ and I never catch up, and there are days when I'm in a rush and I skim long entries. If your entry happens to be long that day, I'll skim it. It's not because I like you any less than anyone else on my flist, it's just so I can see a little bit of everybody.
I'm Laura! :D And I'm on your friends list because for a brief while, we were both super-awesome Lit/Lang majors, before you became a super-awesome science person instead. We met at one of the infamous Lit Club parties (though it wasn't as infamous as some) and had a lot of fun chatting it up. Um, put up with you? I enjoy every time we speak, dear. :) You've turned me onto the Canes and everything. I read every single one of your entries, whether or not I comment. Sometimes, someone else has just completely exactly worded my thoughts, so other than to say "ditto," I'm speechless.
I remember that lit club party. I went with silfailwen and we gave this douchenozzle from my 321 class a ride. He then tried to argue with silfailwen about Poe, which was...a mistake. Woman's got her PhD in lit, and she's a Victorianist. You just don't DO that.
I also took a bottle of rum with me to that party, though I was not yet 21. No one cared. I think Chadwick was drunk in the kitchen. This is not unusual for Chadwick.
