Mom, Jess and I went to see Miss Saigon yesterday afternoon. It's been so long since I went to see a show in Raleigh. It was breathtaking, as I expected it to be. If any of you ever have the opportunity to go see this show, do so. It will rip your heart out, and make you love it. The music is incredibly powerful and evocative, and the actors we saw

I love the way you describe musicals. I'm picky when it comes to musicals, but that's the way I feel about good musicals as well. It's sort of the way comic books can be too--words are amazing but sometimes adding drawings to words make the story beyond awesome. (Granted, there's also something to be said for plain old books--sometimes things are better when I can just imagine them).

Oh, yes. The combination of forms of beauty just makes the experience that much richer.
