My baby plants took a trip outside today! They sat on the porch in the lovely mild air and sun all day. As a result, at the end of the day I find I suddenly have an infestation of carrot sprouts, and my last sugar snap pea vine has appeared ( Read more... )

:) There is NOTHING wrong with playing music for one's animals or plants. I do it all the time. :D

Honestly, I tend to play a lot of acoustic classical guitar stuff. From 6 till about 8:30 I made it just be music time here in the house. It's a quiet time for me and the animals. No TV, phone shut off, and then from 8:30 to 9:30, I will do my yoga, so I listen to some low key new age stuff. The few plants I do have are located near the stereo in the bay window.

I'm not having sinus trouble that I can tell. It could be hormonal, but I haven't seen any evidence of that either. And I normally get hormonal headaches AFTER the fact.

That is an excellent suggestion, love. It's died down to a dull roar, but I may end up doing that after dinner.

I know you do. :) Did you get the memo about me coming up next weekend? Start clearing your calendar now, you're at the top of my list of must-see people.

I am jealous of your plant babies (I lack a green thumb).

What have you tried to grow?

Little potted flowers (it's been awhile, so I don't remember). I don't seem to be good with keeping them watered, or enough sunlight. I either go overboard or completely forget. I don't know anything about soil or extra nutrients.
I have a spider plant that I used to love, but I don't even know if it's alive anymore. D: It had a hundred babies and was taking over our kitchen(I'm serious) and no one was doing anything about it, and the cat was always eating it. So I cut off all of the babies. It went into shock and we still water it, but I don't know it it's actually alive >_>
My sister is the plant person, so she generally cares for my parents lawn and garden and it looks all nice.
Mine? The grass is alive at least.
