You mean, there's someone else in the world who liked Cassie & wanted to see more of her? *bursts into tears of joy* Thank you! Thank you so much!

Does no yelling mean NO CAPSLOCK?

JULES DID AMY AND I TELL YOU THAT WE ARE GOING TO THE PARK THIS WEEKEND? Our boring, local park that happens to be the site of Fort Washington where the British took over control of New York during the Revolutionary War, and where the stones still stand showing the borders of the fort? And where Margaret Corbin fought? We are going to take pictures as Jules-bait!

Also on Monday we are going to hang out all day at the Cloisters. :DDD

I AM THE DUMBEST /o\

Also, Jules! I actually have something for you that I have had since ComicCon! So you HAVE to visit. Or else I need to find the post office. One of the two.

Hey there,
Hope you don't mind a drive-by commenting - I just got into watching Supernatural, and Cassie was one of my favourite bits of Series One, if just for being a female character with integrity who - wait for it - was both given a good, succinct backstory, and who was never really relegated to the role of damsel in distress. I shall go elsewhere now, and stop flailing about all over your webspace, but it's nice to see that other people are fans :-)

Not at all, thank you! &highfives; You're absolutely right about her never being relegated to damsel in distress, which, between that and the fact that she was never evil, either, is pretty surprising coming from SPN; since the first season they haven't really done much of that, which is a shame.

Plus, she was gorgeous and she and Jensen were so pretty together. I'm shallow, whatever.

I loved Cassie. She was GREAT.

As for the other Cassie, I sort of assumed - or was it actually stated in the episode, I can't recall - that Jimmy died in that episode where we ... well, actually met Jimmy.

I sort of assumed - or was it actually stated in the episode, I can't recall - that Jimmy died in that episode where we ... well, actually met Jimmy.Hm. Maybe I need to rewatch; going on the part where Jimmy was okay despite Cas's having been shot etc. I assumed it was just different from demonic possession in that not only did things not harm them, but the vessel was returned whole. Like, I'd gladly go along with it if that's the explanation, because it's perfectly plausible. There are plenty of ways to make it plausible, so I just wish they would give us some kind of official handwaving on it so I don't have to feel so sketched out by it, you know? It would take all of thirty seconds to have Castiel give an explanation as to why the only problem with Castiel getting laid is that he's the Failiest Angel and will awkward up everything each time, not that it's not actually his body. Hell, it wouldn't even need to be that much; he could take half a second to say "Jimmy is gone" and let us decide what that means ( ... )

Yeah, the whole strip club bit was pretty gross. I would so, so go with it if they would just give me an out. But they really have to do that.

I liked Cassie too! And I was really interested in her relationship with Dean. I wish we'd seen more of it.

Exactly! And it would be so easy to do! There are plenty of places they could point to and say "Jimmy died then, and only Castiel is in there or will ever be in there again". This show is so good about the fanservice normally, I'd think they'd be happy to toss it in. The strip club scene was hilarious for me only because it became clear quickly that it wouldn't work because Cas would get Awkward all over everyone; if I'd thought there was a chance it would work I would've been even more sketched out than I was by the mere idea of it ( ... )
