So I've been considering this pretty much since the Steel Cage matches back in March, and then there were the HBIC matches and those were basically the last straw. So.

Because she started out as "the girl" in a benevolently sexist 60s comic book, but she wasn't content to stay that way.

Because she loved the good boy, and lusted after the bad boy (and vice versa) and she didn't really care who knew it.

Because when she saw she had to give her life to save the people she loved, she knocked out her boyfriend, yelled at her other boyfriend until he went slinking out of the room, then hugged her best girlfriend and said how much she loved everybody. Also, she learned to fly the space shuttle in about 20 seconds.

Because she didn't let her life fall apart just because her marriage did.

Because being dead never kept her down for long.

I don't always like Jean, but I have no trouble admitting she's the most awe-inspiring woman in the Marvel Universe. She eats Cosmic Cubes for breakfast.
