House hunting is exceptionally difficult; you fall in love (or like) with a place, and then you need to detach yourself emotionally to be able to make a suitable offer. You may go through dozens (if not hundreds) of homes to find the right place, and then you have to go through the process of making an offer. The only comfort I can offer is that understanding that the process requires you to make multiple offers, and it's just a matter of being patient until an offer "hits", is half the battle.
Oh I know that, and we both know that this was only the first, and perhaps one of several we'll have to make before the right one comes along.
But there is a new development that may help things along, a consolidation loan to pay down my credit card, my line of credit and my car loan.
If anything it'll make it easier to pay down either again should i need to while still living here at the apartment where my rent increases to close to 70% of my budget this month.
