Sounds like quite an exciting time in your life! Congratulations on many levels, and good for you for saying thank you and grinning at that awfully generous Universe.

I had no idea you and Katie were dating; that's excellent! It was almost a year ago that we all got to know each other and that horridly awkward situation involving Kaya and even the Heckel's bunch that one night erupted... glad everything seems to be working in your favor right now. Everyone deserves a time in their life like that.

Yes. Life is good. Except Katie and I ended up "not being" as she apparently started dating a girl on the base last week...so that's changed. But aside from that everything is very, very good. And I hope the same for you.
